Welcome!

My name is Avery Price, and I am from Hillsborough, North Carolina. I am a Communication major with a minor in Agricultural Business Management at North Carolina State University. I am passionate about storytelling and using strategic communication to connect people, brands, and communities.

This summer, I had the opportunity to intern with the 94.7 QDR Morning Show at Curtis Media Group. Through this experience, I gained hands-on experience in radio broadcasting and media operations. I learned how to operate the control board, pull audio for replays and client air checks, assist with preparing on-air content for daily broadcasts, and even had the opportunity to go on air as part of the morning show.

In addition to my broadcasting experience, I have created content for retail businesses, including developing social media posts, promoting merchandise, and creating in-store messaging to engage customers and drive sales.

My interests lie at the intersection of strategic communication and agriculture, and I am excited to explore a career in public relations that amplifies voices in both traditional and emerging industries. I have experience in public speaking, content planning, and digital communication, with a growing focus on brand messaging and media relations. Whether I am building a brand, promoting a product, or sharing a story, I am driven by the power of clear, consistent, and creative communication.
